In a recently published Technical Note authored by Dr. Bob Banerjee, Product Marketing Manager for Bosch Security Systems, he discusses our view that our video analytics, Intelligent Video Analysis (IVA), should be accessible to the general market for use in ordinary situations as well as highly critical ones, ranging from parking in front of a school gate to loitering at the perimeter of a petrochemical facility to driving the wrong way down a street.
 
Bosch now offers the option to increase the intelligence of our IP-based edge devices with IVA – and this document explains which version of IVA is used with corresponding edge devices. (Please note that the IVA feature set is derived from the installed firmware, not the type of IVA license. The license is a device-specific activator.)
